Reunion after 14 years. Gresa and Bledi sing: “Zemër për zemër”.

In each edition, “Kënga Magjike” festival has been a promotor of duets. Through years, various singers have joined forces to realize their duets. The first duet that is unveiled in the 23d edition of “Kënga Magjike” festival is “Zemër për zemër”, by Gresa Gjocera and Bledi Kaso. The “sweetness” of Gresa and the vocal “harshness” of Bledi principally look like a contrast, to become later as a whole…

During “E diela shqiptare” show, Ardit Gjebrea said humorously: “You have the dinosaurs’ symptoms”.

This because Gresa Gjocera returns to “Kënga Magjike” stage after 14 years. Her last participation was as a vocalist of “Fever” group in 2008. Years have passed by and now Gresa is looking for a “meeting” with the stage. Her companion is Bledi Kaso, the singer from Korça.

Being interviewed by kë staff, Bledi said: “Singing with Gresa is like swimming above stars.”

It is worth mentioning that both artists come from different multi-year experiences of singing Live and now it is time to reflect such experience at “their meeting” in “Kënga Magjike” festival.

“Is it October rain or Orgesa’s tears?.”

“The legend tells that, if it rains in September, Orgesa’s is the fault.”
Orgesa Zaimi is the third “Big” category singer, who opened “Kënga Magjike 2022”.
She has participated in this festival since 2006 with various musical streams, from rock to pop, pop-folk, etc. The singer is well known for her particular style and charismatic personality. In the 23d festival edition, she has decided to make us “wet” with rain. Her song is titled “Shiu i Tetorit” and her intention is clearly displayed – she wants us to experience some melancholy.

For the third year in a row, the formula of the collaborators is the same. The innovation with Orgesa’s participation is that, beside the rain, she comes with a different performance. During the programme “Aldo Morning Show” she said:
“When you have a new project, you create an emotion and you develop it. It is hard work, starting from January. For the first time, I come with a different performance and a selective choreography. I have always thought to bring more of myself, in each interpretation.”
The question is: “Is such rain a metaphor of Orgesa’s tears?”
The drama lovers would have liked a positive answer, but even in this case, Orgesa has got an answer. In the “mini-interview” regarding the backstage of “Kënga Magjike” festival, Orgesa said:
“My love during September-October is so sweet, like all the year.”
The singer always shares her personal life with her fans, various family moments of everyday. Besides this, she has become a very dear character in “TikTok” platform, in which she makes different funny videos.
She says: “I have never considered doing that as a monetary profit. The positive comments and energy I get from my posts is enough for me.”

“Sara Bajraktari is back, with a dedication to betrayal.”

We liked her, we got to know her, we sang her songs, but, when we were waiting for the next song, she disappeared. But not for long, Sara Bajraktari is back to the stage as a “BIG” singer, artistically grown.
Though very young in her career, Sara Bajraktari is considered as one of the most powerful voices. Let’s recall year 2019, in which she won the third prize in “RTSH 58th Song Festival”, with her song “Ajër”, a dedication to her father. After that, here comes the other song, “Ça m’bone”.
Exclusively, the singer unveils that this song is a dedication to “his” betrayal. “Ça m’bone!” speaks about love that has ended, maybe underlying her own love story. On the other hand, being interviewed by Ardit Gjebrea, she declared that she would have participated again in the “New Artist” category with no problem, unless she was classified as “Big Artist”. It shows that the competition spirit is rooted in Sara.
One thing is sure – her song will be a dedication to all the broken hearts

“Why my sister is my Fairy”…?
Erik Lloshi speaks about his family relations.”

Erik Lloshi, in his 9th participation in “Kënga Magjike” festival, left the romance and ballade nostalgy behind and decided to appear differently, with rhythm.
His song is entitled “Zanë moj”, a song that has Mediterranean motives and speaks about the beauty of Albanian girls. In its text, Erik says: “My Fairy, love me/love me the same”.
At first, you would think it is a love dedication, but, in this case, it’s the singer who unveils the truth.
Asked by Ardit Gjebrea who his “Fairy” is – his mother, sister, partner – the singer answered honestly.
As rarely happens, Erik talked about love and family relations:
“I love all the three, but I would call my sister “Fairy”. She has been the one to have got me acquainted with my partner, has also been the “connecting bridge” between my family and me.
My sister has strengthen my family connections, has interfered in “various family conflicts” between me and my parents. She has always dedicated herself to the family’s happiness.”

Surely, after such a sincere confession, the song remains a love inspiration for the Albanian girl and beauty.

EXCLUSIVE NEWS: Anxhela Faber will be a new member of the jury.”

In this edition, the time of the festival will change.

Once again, it will return to its tradition, being held during the end of the year period, unlike the previous year. The songs’ selection phase has already ended and, starting from September 18 on every Sunday, we will have the opportunity to get to know the songs of the new edition.

It was the year 2016, when a new selection formula was designed for “Kënga Magjike” festival that classified singers into “Big” and “New Artist” categories. Today, it has become a tradition that places artists, singers, and young creators in the foreground.

One of the most important elements of this formula is, by no doubt, the jury. In every edition, BIG singers, composers, producers, lyricists and journalists have been an important part of the “New Artist” formula, regarding songs and singers’ selection, but also for the creation of different and most debatable situations, by giving their judgments.

The members of the jury of “Kënga Magjike 2022” have been officially revealed in the final episode of “Mam, Po Ti!?” section, in “E diela Shqiptare” show.

They are: the singer-songwriter Pirro Çako, the actress Ema Andrea, the singer Jonida Maliqi, the journalist Kozeta Kurti.  In the meantime, we are officially introducing you to the newest member of the jury.

What will Faber’s judgement be? Let’s wait and see…

“Gaetano Castelli reunites with Ardit Gjebrea”

Gaetano Castelli, a loyal collaborator, but at the same time, displaying a different character in each edition..

One of the most important elements that creates “magic” in “Kënga Magjike” festival is the scenography.

Over the years, the best Albanian and foreign scenographers have joined forces to bring a new spirit to the scenography of Albanian festivals. Through different years and editions, there has been no lack of peculiar scenography, with different stellar elements, such as planets. One of the most iconic experiments in the festival scenography was the rain on stage, as the basic detail of “Kënga Magjike 2005”.

In 2008, “Kënga Magjike” festival takes another turn. The legend of Italian television scenography, Gaetano Castelli, joins the magic of the festival.

Again, Gaetano Castelli will join Ardit Gjebrea for the 23rd festival edition of this year.

Exclusively for kë, Castelli talks about the 14-year collaboration with “Kënga Magjike” festival.

He says:

“We have further grown, looking towards the future with every passing year”.

Based on this statement, it seems that this year’s scenography will really bring surprises, while RAI master humorously adds that his Italian colleagues are “envious” about this special collaboration with “Kënga Magjike”.

All that remains is to wait and see the magnificent transformation  Castelli will bring to the Palace of Congresses.

Let’s recall the five most commented of  Castelli’s scenographies:

1•”Kënga Magjike 2008” Scenography

For “Kënga Magjike” fanatic followers, the 2008 scenography marked a revolution in the history of the festival. For the first time, one of the most important figures of Italian TV, came to Albania to put his magic on stage: a  scenography that brings to mind the waves of the sea, the blue of the ocean.

2•”Kēnga Magjike 2012″

For the first time, led screens dominated the stage, enabling the presentation of accompanying graphics and special effects.

3•”Kënga Magjike 2014” Scenography

Dreaming to see a spaceship on stage? Well, “Kënga Magjike 2014” edition brought one of the most talkative scenes.

4 • “Kënga Magjike 2016” Scenography

If 2014 brought us a spaceship on stage, in the 2016 edition, Castelli masterly made the design inspired by the stars: a constellation dedicated to the stars of “Kënga Magjike” festival.

5•”Kënga Magjike 2018” Scenography

In 2018, Castelli came up with the proposal to expand the scenography. The Palace of Culture had rarely experienced such reformation, to bring out a GIANT scenography!!!

EXCLUSIVE: “The innovation brought by Ardit Gjebrea in “Kënga Magjike 2022” revealed.

For years and decades, “Kënga Magjike” Festival has brought innovation regarding the latest technical, scenographic, visual and other aspects of technology. Over the years, the culture of making performances graphically has brought the desire to go further. If “rain on stage, in the 2005 edition”, 3D visual effects, other phenomena, such as fire and wind, real-time transmission in the highest  quality seem new to you, reveals the novelties that Ardit Gjebrea will provide this year.

The innovation that “Kënga Magjike 2022” festival will bring to the 23rd edition is the practice of the “CuePilot” system; a system adapted to the standards of the “Eurovision Song Contest”.

• What is “CuePilot” system?

CuePilot was created by internationally renowned filmmaker, Per Zachariassen, founded in 2005 in Copenhagen Denmark, as a response to the need for accuracy and consistency in “live” broadcasting, thus reducing expensive rehearsal time. In other words, a system that enables the highest visual and televisual technique.

This creative system designs and manufactures innovative software and equipment to be used in professional broadcasts, to perfect performances between rehearsals and the “live” show, so that the entire team of singers, dancers and cameramen blend together “live”. “CuePilot” system, with a global team, has executed more than 1000 “live” shows, which have been seen by hundreds of millions of viewers.

As every year, Ardit Gjebrea brings a variety of innovations to “Kënga Magjike” Festival.
